I may need one eventually. There are issues in Fellden that are bigger than I alone can handle.

Most of the issues here are too big for us to handle alone. Pretty sure that's why they called a platoon to the fight.

[For all the use they've really seen. The Priestess' words echo in the back of her mind. Things are going to get worse, fast.]

What issue are you digging into?

Magic. I'm interested in researching the practical costs of the summoning ceremony our leaders perform.

[A very polite way to say it, and one that earns a delay of a minute or two on Lightning's end. She'd heard Temperance say that bringing them here was costing the world, and the Priestess had been adamant that if Fellden went so too did their worlds. If too many of their kind get brought here, Fellden goes.

And it takes everything else with it.]

Temperance told us that summoning Otherworlders here was putting a strain on Fellden's magic, and that if things kept up we had just under three years before this world ended. The Priestess would probably tell you she was lying, but...

[Who trusts the Priestess these days? Who trusts any of them?]

She said something similar to me. I'm of the mind that we should not continue to do things which shorten our rope.

So we stop the ceremony. Figure out wherever it is they're doing it and end it before things get worse.

[Like it's so easy. Honestly, Farron...]

Won't be easy, and it won't win us any points with the Priestess. Better be damn sure before we make any moves.

I would be more concerned with the Priestess if both Temperance and the Warlock had not categorically denounced the idea that she might listen to reason. The faction leaders are stuck in their ways, their wartime roles, and can no longer make sound decisions. They are to be used for their resources at their best, and avoided at their worst.

So I will do my best to research discretely and determine what can be done.

More like fought at their worst. If they figure out there's dissent in the ranks, they're not going to take it lying down. Could be our heads on the block next.

You need a blade or magic, call me. Research was never my thing, but I know how to make a mess out on the battlefield.

Unless someone bestows on me a significantly more powerful magical artifact than the ones in my possession currently, I won't be attempting to fight any gods.

But you're welcome to give it a try, I suppose.

I've taken down more than one thing that claimed to be a God before. This wouldn't be the first time, or the last.

Still, it'd be easier with more help. I can make some recommendations if you don't mind recruiting from Stars.

And I don't mind. The problem remains the same, for both Moon and Stars.

Dimitri Blaiddyd and Mercedes von Martritz from Stars, and Syrlya, Felix Fraldarius, and Hoju from Moon. They can all handle themselves in a fight, and Mercedes and Hoju are both mages and healers. Couldn't hurt to bring some of those along, too.
